When Mibila's clinic opens, it will have a midwife and nurse stationed there full time to deal with immediate needs. It will also run education programmes focussing on preventing illnesses.

The children, like the one in this photograph, also need to be immunised. One of the ladies in the village told us that she had lost all seven of her children to measles. A full course of immunisations would cost £20 a child.
