Train Across America
October 23, 2010
Not every set of photos has to be a project – but you can still be really creative about the way they’re presented…
I took a series of photos over a 20 hour period when I travelled by train with my wife, ed from Washington D.C. to Chicago. We’d been looking forward to the trip but had no idea how beautiful it would be. After we got home I knew I could do something interesting with all the images. Some fortuitous forward planning was to record the sound of the train rumbling through the night – and then I recorded a narration which I put together later with the photos using Soundslides.
